ANNOUNCEMENT OF A TEAM RECTOR

The Parish of Keynsham Team Ministry

It is with great pleasure that we can now announce that, our new Team Rector will be the Rev’d Aidan Watson who will come to us from the Diocese of Derby, where he is currently the Strategic Lead for Youth Ministry. Our interview panel were unanimous in their decision and were all impressed by what Aidan had to offer.

Whilst we, as a parish, are delighted with this news we need to be aware that Aidan has announced his departure in Derby and the news there will be very differently received from here.

Aidan joins us with his two children and his wife the Rev’d Cathie Watson, and the news will be announced in their current parishes of Allestree, Quarndon and Darley Abbey where she is currently serving as Curate.

 Please pray for Aidan and the family as they prepare to move here, his present Diocese as they come to terms with what his departure means to them, and continue to pray for this parish as we prepare to welcome Aidan and the rich ministry that he will bring to us.

The date for Aidan’s licensing and Service of Welcome will be Tuesday 14th October. Please save the date now.
