Sunday 9th March is the 5th Woman Composer Sunday, launched by the Society of Women Organists in 2021 and now an international event.
To celebrate, music at evensong at St. John’s will include newly composed pieces by winners of the American Guild of Organists WCS 2025 composition competition, preces and responses by Marilyn Harper, canticles by Lizzie Wheeler and an anthem by Anna Laura Page.
