Keynsham Parish 24-7 Prayer
The next GLOBAL event is on the 24th June. (Since Oct 2001.... 261 Britsh forces personnel have died and 1109 wounded in AFGHANISTAN)
'Day of prayer for the armed forces' Come join a worldwide movement of people seeking God - praying and asking for mercy and an end to all conflict.
Join us with millions of others on that day. Support the troops, pray, light a candle, be still. The church is open from 10 - 6pm

Setting up a prayer wall.
Every Thursday between the hours of 5 and 6pm St. Johns church is open for prayer. Running along side this between the hours of 5 and 9pm the Church Hall Prayer Room will be open.
During these times, in St Johns Church, there will be several 'prayer stations' at which people can 'connect' with God.

1 The prayer team invite all to place prayer requests
2. All are invited to pray You don't have to come to the church, (though it would be good if you did!) Where ever you are, what ever your doing doesn't matter, just decide a time to be still. 5mins, 2hrs whatever so you can connect with God.
3. Community Prayer Box 4 Prayer Walking Des has set up the plan for prayer walking round the community, The cards are in the foyer of the church, please take one, walk and pray the street, then return the card and mark the map. This can be done at any time but best to go in two's. |

for any length of time during these hours, 5 - 9pm every THURSDAY.
At this same time as commuters pass the church gates, a board with a prayer box will be in place for them to requested a Prayer or even pop in for prayer if they feel the need.
