Youth Band
Under initially the tutelage of Graham Kay and latterly of Tom Cook and Chris Hutchison, the Youth Band have developed tremendously in the last eighteen months. Initially established as a response to the young people’s desire to worship in their culture, the youth band have grown from leading worship for themselves and their peers to leading worship for the whole church and recently led a praise party for the children. The youth team seek to encourage and offer the young people opportunities to worship and also to teach them that worship is about more than singing.
St John's Teen Choir
The teenage members of St John's Church Choir regualarly meet and perform as a choir in their own right in fundraising concerts and activities such as carol singing. Their repertoire is diverse and exciting and their events are well attended and critically acclaimed.
