Prayers at St Johns
Thursday evening prayers
Every Thursday between the hours of 5pm and 6pm St. Johns church is open for prayer.
During these times, in St Johns Church, there will be several 'prayer stations' at which people can 'connect' with God.
Running along side this between the hours of 5pm and 9pm the Church Hall Prayer Room will also be open.
All are invited to pray for any length of time during these hours. If you unable to come to the church, then wherever you are, whatever your doing, you can time to be still. 5mins, 2hrs whatever so you can connect with God.
Prayer requests
If you would value prayer for any reason, the prayer team invites anyone to place prayer requests on the newly established prayer wall in the south Isle of the church.
Thursday prayer evening
All are invited to pray for any length of time during these hours, 5 - 9pm every THURSDAY.
Community prayer box
At this same time as commuters pass the church gates, a board with a prayer box will be in place for them to request a prayer or even pop in for prayer if they feel the need.
Prayer walking
Des has set up the plan for prayer walking round the community. The cards are in the foyer of the church. Please feel free to take one, walk and pray the street, then return the card and mark the map. This can be done at any time but it is recommended to go in small groups.
