Ancient Screen Renovation

This year marked the final renovation of the Chancel screen .

The Restorer was well impressed with this particular screen because it is one of only a very small number in the country that survived the Reformation in16th century. (Most were destroyed during this period).

The renovation was carried out on this and the 'Rood' screen around the corner by the 'St Johns Bridges Society' (see their link in Churches, St Johns.)
